Not everyone will qualify to become an in-home daycare provider. Those that cannot pass a background test or have someone with a felony conviction living in the home generally do not qualify. Also, homes that do not meet state requirements for hosting the kids (space and bathroom availability) will also not be eligible. Our trained staff assists homeowners to understand whether they might qualify as daycare providers and whether they would be a good fit as a Doma Daycare provider. If you are not sure, ask! Consultation is free! We will walk you through the process. If you are eligible, only then do you sign up. If a homeowner does not have prior education or experience, that’s ok! We take care of the training and certification to allow the homeowners to begin the daycare.
Doma Daycare providers are licensees who are permitted to use the Doma Daycare name, and who use our training materials and software to communicate with parents and process payments. Doma Daycare centers are individually owned by the families that live in those locations. Doma Daycare does not own the in-home daycare centers and does not employ the homeowners. Doma Daycare is the one-stop-shop that empowers homeowners to own their own business, working from home, taking care of kids, and earning a great living.
